The Steel Enlarged Wedge Lock Washer Assortment Box is engineered as a high-integrity fastening system for securing bolted joints exposed to vibration, dynamic loading, and cyclic stress. The system utilizes a proven wedge-locking principle where paired washers with precision-formed cam faces generate increased clamping force under loosening motion, ensuring preload retention rather than reliance on friction alone. Radial serrations mechanically embed into mating surfaces to prevent rotational loosening and maintain joint stability under service conditions.

Manufactured from high-grade materials with corrosion-resistant surface treatments, the washers are produced to controlled dimensional tolerances in accordance with recognised fastening standards. Supplied in pre-assembled pairs and organised within a durable, compartmentalised case, the assortment ensures efficient identification, rapid selection, and reliable on-site usability. Even under extremes of vibration or dynamic loads, the HEICO-LOCK® Wedge Locking System provides maximum reliability.

When the bolt is tightened, the external radial teeth of the HEICO-LOCK® Wedge Lock System embed themselves in an interlocking fashion with the respective mating surface.

If the securing system is subject to dynamic stress, movement is only possible between the internal washer surfaces. This results in an increase in the clamping force.
